This child was adopted out before the man knew that he may be the father. Now that he knows that the child may be his, he wants DNA testing to confirm paternity. The adoptive parents won’t agree to testing and the man doesn’t have the finances to obtain legal representation. Are there court appointed lawyers in situations like this?

I am working on a property that is in foreclosure in WA state. It is 2 months into the process, ,500 in back payments and taxes and a few thousand in attorney fees for the mortgage holder’s attorneys. Is there a ballpark estimate of how much attorney fees will be once the 135 days is up and it goes to sale, and is there any formula for calculating the rate of their charges?

I asked this question in a different way, and I neglected to explain that it’s not a law suit case, so ‘contingency’ is probably not an option.
My question is: If a potential client doesn’t have the entire retainers fee up front for an attorney, is there a way that an attorney can start representing the client with some sort of a guarantee that he/she will be paid? Is there a form of written agreement that can be drawn up between the attorney and the potential client?

Lawyers!! !?

A very successful lawyer parked his brand-new Lexus in front of his office, ready to show it off to his colleagues. As he got out, a truck passed too closely and completely tore off the door on the driver’s side.

The lawyer immediately grabbed his cell phone, dialed 911, and within minutes a policeman pulled up. Before the officer had a chance to ask any questions, the lawyer started screaming hysterically that his Lexus, which he had just picked up the day before, was now completely ruined and would never be the same, no matter what the body shop did to it.

When the lawyer finally wound down from his ranting and raving, the officer shook his head in disgust and disbelief.

"I can’t believe how materialistic you lawyers are," he said. "You are so focused on your possessions that you don’t notice anything else."

"How can you say such a thing?" asked the lawyer.

The cop replied, "Don’t you know that your left arm is missing from the elbow down? It must have been torn off when the truck hit you."

"My God!" screamed the lawyer. "Where’s my Rolex?"
I counted 6 Dev but i cheated . I seen it before LoL

Speaking at a press conference on Feb 25 with DEA Administrator Michele Leonhart, and reiterating a position made by the White House following DEA raids in California on February 4, US Attorney General Eric Holder told reporters that ending federal raids on medical marijuana dispensaries “is now American policy.” The Attorney General’s comments are the latest sign of a sea change in federal policy that prohibits the use of medical cannabis in the thirteen states that have enacted such laws.

lawyers…?

lets just say

the person they are defending has admited they are guilty of a mass murder

why would a lawyer still back them and try and get them a lower sentence?

seems wrong to me, even though i guess its all about money

like what if the person got out early because of the lawyer and killed the lawyers family, would they deserve it?
